A kerámia bevonat nagyon érzékeny, úgy kell bánni vele mint a hímes tojással, mert lepattogzik, fugareszelővel szinte lehetetlen hozzányúlni, mert a csempe is sérül. A dobozból kivéve is sok lepattogzott bevonatú csempét találni. Aki tökéletesre vágyik, annak nem ajánlom, de a mintázat szép és kellő szakértelemmel azért használható felületeket lehet létrehozni.
