★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Szabadság út és a Balatoni út kereszteződésében található zöldterületen az 1300-as években ferences templom és a hozzátartozó kolostor állt. A épület nagyrészt a török időben elpusztult majd elbontották, de az egyik tornyát a kisszentgrótiak kérésére meghagyták. Könnyen megközelíthető, a tér sarkán buszmegálló is van. Vendégszobát pár lépésre található szállóban kaphatunk és szomjunkat a zalai borút rendezvényeinek is helyet adó szemközti borozóban olthatjuk. A hely történelmét ismertető tábla elhelyezése nem ártana és az idevezető jelzések is segíthetnék megtalálását-
