★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Több ingyenesen használható, kisebb-nagyobb strand található vizesblokkokkal, öltözőkabinokkal, vendéglátóhelyekkel, játszóterekkel, kölcsönzőkkel. Közülük is ki kell emelni, a köznyelvben csak “nagystrandként” emlegetett, 3 km hosszú, egybefüggő, füves, árnyas szabadstrandot, amely csodálatos panorámával tekint a Tihanyi- félszigetre. Június végétől augusztus végéig a strandolók biztonságát Bácskai utcai központtal ingyenes orvosi ügyelet és vízimentő-szolgálat felügyeli. A strand az elmúlt években kiérdemelte a kiváló vízminőséget igazoló kék zászlót.
There are several free and small beaches with water blocks, changing rooms, restaurants, playgrounds, rentals. One of them is the 3 km long, unbroken, grassy, shady free beach, referred to as the “big beach” in the vernacular, with a wonderful view of the Tihany Peninsula. From the end of June to the end of August, the safety of the beaches is monitored by the Bácskai Street Center, which is free of charge on-call medical services and rescue services. In recent years, the beach has earned the Blue Flag for outstanding water quality.

A parton jelentős mennyiségű hely van strandolásra, ugyanakkor itt rendezuk meg a Balaton Sound és Strand fesztiválokat, amelyek után sajnos nagyon poros tud lenni.
A strand ingyenes ugyanakkor a parkolás nyári időszakban fizetős: 300 Ft/ óra!
Tidy and beautiful shore of Lake Balaton. Free beach with free toilet, many changing rooms and bathing facilities.
There is a significant amount of space for swimming on the shore, but at the same time we organize the Balaton Sound and Strand festivals here, after which unfortunately it can be very dusty.
The beach is free, however, parking is paid during the summer: 300 HUF / hour!
