★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was at festival BMyLake @bymylakefestival and security guard fought me at the enterence of the festival. I Payed 142e for vip 4day ticket, and they cut my arm band first day, so i coulnd enter any more days. I came from Leskovac,Serbia 700km,alone by car, with only purpose to go to festival and its isll a Big shame that the security ruined my trip to Hungary. Otherwise Zamardi is a really nice place , and Hungary is a nice county.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice public Strand. Everything you expect from lake Strand is here. Nice clean grass, plenty of bars and restaurants and overall clean water.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent place, parking is not free but totally worth it. Good food and bumper cars for kids available. Water is excellent, ground is sandy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice free and still well equipped beach. You will find many street food restaurants and there is also a lot of parking place. You need to pay for parking but it is really conviniently close to the beach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would recomend if you want to chill out. On the other hand, it is quite difficult to acquire accomoditation in Zámardi, which makes it much less attractive.
IMPORTANT - I did not know, but you cannot actually swim in Balaton, as the water is about knees-high.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nicely kept, orderly, free beach. Very long with a nice walking path, great for walks or cycling. Plenty of shade, provided by nice old trees. Many toilets, trash bins, changing rooms, lake entry points. Several buffets, some water sport centres.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I simply love this place. Long coast, surrounded with big trees that will give you shade if you want. Nice restaurants, food kiosks around. You can easily spend there a whole week, just relaxing, eating, enjoying the lake and doing watersports. Love you Zamardi
