Low value for your money as it's waaay to expensive 1500HUF for a small dish of pea soup?! - specially that contrary to the reviews there is nothing extraordinary my grandpa couldn't top - or my family has way better cooks then the AVG? ?. The dishes are nice and I like how they focus on a few dishes instead of a bazillion different ones. Check in if you are a tourist and would like to try Hungarian food, otherwise sorry but I can't really recommend it.

I ordered the giant curd cheese dumpling aka túrógombóc. After a good while we got a good looking but hard on the outside and raw inside something that looked like a túrógombóc. When asking the waitress if that was a feature or was that really raw, she pulled faces and the immediate answer was 'I can take it off the bill' Although the place looked promising, this quality and kind of service paired with those prices doesn't deserve any better than 2 stars. Based on my experience I really don't recommend it, I can just hope that they will be able to improve on that, sadly there is plenty of room for it.

So only 4. --- Excellent traditional Hungarian dishes, friendly service, local atmosphere. Plus I really love the interior. 5. (2019)
