★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent experience! Wonderful shop with a lot of different qualities. And very colorful! She speaks a bit of english -enough to make you feel very welcome and she is helpful if you have any questions. I bought some different types worsted wool in a color combinations I have never seen before. So all in all, deffently a stop on the way if you are in Budapest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Underwhelming experience: tiny hole-in-the-wall of a store, marginal selection with prices higher than in France or Germany. Perhaps Budapest is not the place to shop for yarn, or perhaps this store simply doesnt have the space to offer wider assortment, butthe end result is that you should get paprika, not yarn, from Budapest.
The staff is nice and polite, but they cant sell what they dont have.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice ladies in the shop and thankfully they spoke English. I was in Budapest on a tour and found the store online and it was within walking distance of my hotel. Bought some lovely lace weight silk yarn. They even helped me pick out new circular needles for my project.Made a shawl to remind me of my time in this lovely city.
The store is located a few minutes walk from the edge of the Danube. It's a beautiful place to walk and enjoy the view of the boats and the castle across the river.
