Best Hungarian restaurant in Hungary

E	Eszter Kralik on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant serves teaditional Hungarian dishes, but they're nothing special. It's not very busy, service isn't too fast. It's not unreasonably priced, but it's not a budget place either. The restaurant is very dark, doesn't get a lot of light from outside.

You can order a traditional goulash for starter and a selection of meats (beef, duck or lamb skewer, pork chops etc... ) but pay extra attention to the accompanying garnish as it isn't clear what comes with each meat. For instance an order of lamb skewer comes with French fries... Not so Hungarian is it?
L	Lctrip Gposso on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traditional food served with interesting twist. The Roasted Lamb for two was the most delicious I had ever tasted. It was the shoulder portion together with the forearm. Served bone-in, it was juicy, succulent and aromatic. It came with roasted vegetables, rice, and a most delicious roux-based sauce. The portion was more than enough for 2 persons. The goulash was hearty and delicious. I was surprised that this place didn't collect more stars. Let me hazard a guess; perhaps it's because their fish came with bones, and folks who are not used to it gave this place a lower rating for that reason. I enjoyed their fish soup very much; although I personally was perfectly happy to have bones in the fish slices, I daresay some others may not feel the same way. Perhaps if the owner highlights the presence of bones in their fish dishes, perhaps this restaurant could receive the higher ratings that it actually deserves.
G	G on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disclaimer: I don’t know what “traditional Hungarian food” supposed to be, but I just had a PHENOMENAL meal here. Ordered lamb chops and beer. Instead of rice I asked vegetables of chef’s choice and they surprised me with a bed of sautéed purple cabbage and charred onion and hot and sweet peppers, and fresh cukes, tomatoes, and lettuce. The lamb rib chops and the accompanying house hot smoked paprika sauce were a PERFECTION. The service was outstanding : two fast and very friendly waiters were very attentive and upbeat. A	Alev B. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Right on the sidewalk of a quiet street. Very basic restaurant. The good thing was they have a lunch menu. The not so good thing was that the clear chicken soup way way too salty and mainly noodles. The service was ok.

K	Kris Tashev on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is slightly below OK place, goulash was good taste with advantage to the potatoes vs meat. Overall dishes were little bit too salty for my taste. Red wine by the glass you should avoid. It tasted like a cheap red wine by the glass. Service is average, toilets as well. Outside was ok since inside there is unpleasant smell of old kitchen.
