Room was big, bed was comfy, bathroom was nice and clean, location was great - very close to the popular sights and the metro. Internet was working well. The only issue we had was that the temperature was high even though we turned off the heating system and the radiator about 2 hours after checking in. We stayed for 4 nights and were sleeping with the window open. We assumed that the room would not cool down because pipes may have been crossing the floor or walls. To be honest we did not ask if it could be fixed somehow, we were just opening the window. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location! We had a suite for a special birthday, with beautiful views of the Chain Bridge and Parliament. Comfortable bed, spacious living area, bathroom a bit basic, but clean and large. Great for heading out to the funicular and castle, short walk into the city across the Chain Bridge, good metro and tram locations. Very very helpful and friendly staff, excellent, extensive breakfast and we ate in the hotel restaurant, which was also excellent. Great for the quiet side of the river, but fine for access to the city and beyond. Would recommend!

Pros: beautiful view, nice size room (had the largest), good breakfast and nice customer service at the front desk, good food and service in the restaurant. Cons: away from the heart of the city, had to air out the room daily when first arrived and everyday we got back as there’s a bad musty smell, the shower ceiling was peeling off in large sections, the sauna “closed except by request”, the gym was very small and the equipment looks compromised (photo of frayed tension wire included) Overall: I’d not recommend, but if it’s your only options it’s doable.

Really enjoyed staying here, the location is perfect to walk to most important sites and the hotel is modern and with ample rooms. Our room had views to the Parliament which was an added bonus. The only thing was that we were on the first floor so we could hear the noise from the street, especially the tram. But I would definitely come back given the price / quality you get.

Perfectly situated for city on the picturesque Danube. Lovely modern decor. Friendly staff. Quick check in and out. Was upgraded for free. Room superb. Food and bar was of a very good standard and very reasonably priced. Lost one star as the kettle was dirty inside, reception gave out a pass to our room to our friend without checking or permission. Twice staff entered our room without knocking.

We were part of a large group (125) from Canada coming for Christmas. The hotel was not prepared to process such a large group efficiently. We chose a one bedroom suite which was lovely with double french doors in each room that opened to a direct view of the Danube across the street and all the splendour of the mountain side of Budapest (see photos). The king sized bed was like a Star Wars cruiser and appeared to float above the floor. Dangerous tub/shower with no safety grab bars!! The elevators are very small and the overweight buzzer comes on at four people with no luggage. Not good when a hundred are trying to get to their room. There were only two luggage carts and no porters which was murder on our older guests and the hallways were stifling hot. The lounge bar/restaurant did not bring in any extra staff even though we were there for five nights. You had to fight for service at the bar and trying to order food was out of the question, so we ate elsewhere, which was a good thing. There are no ice machines either on the floors or in the minibars. The bar reluctantly would give you a couple of cubes in a paper cup. The quality of the room furnishings and the view should make this a five star, just don't plan to stay when the place is busy!

Very nice hotel right at the Danube river. If you're lucky, you can get a aroom with a view across to river to the parliament building. Rooms are well kept and large enough, staff is friendly and speaks good english. Breakfast buffet is very good. Several intersting sites can be reached on foot or with a short ride.
