Soup of the day was quite OK, but nothing special what you would order again.
Goulash was to much oily and without any taste, it wasn’t awful, but no pleasure.
As a bonus the charge you tip for this service

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful food and a great vibe! Highly recommend for lunch. Had the duck breast and the chicken breast and both were perfectly tender and juicy with great sauces and sides. Get the “bulls blood” red wine. Punchy and tasty!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the better meals I've had recently. The pumpkin cream soup with chestnuts was delicious, while the beet risotto with goat cheese was decadent. My wife enjoyed her gnochi as well. Friendly/helpful service with a great atmosphere inside. Will return next time I'm in Budapest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious lunch. Food was lovely. Had artichoke risotto followed by duck livers on mashed potato. Huge selection of beers and wines by the bottle. Nice decor, pleasant staff. Bit pricier than other places but would definitely recommend and visit again.

Downside, no one came to check our food was okay, no one came to check if we wanted more drinks and when we asked for desert menu, no one came back. Also, when paying the bill was asked if wanted to pay in GB pounds which we said no but if we had their exchange rate meant paying an extra £10. Glad my other half knew this scam!! Won't be going back. Note, if disabled ask to sit downstairs when booking!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the best meal of our whole stay in Budapest here. The duck and croquettes were fantastic and the sauce really rich and creamy. The desserts were amazing, especially the special which was a take on a hungarian classic cake in a really sophisticated way. Wish more people would go here as it was very empty.
