Such a fabulous hotel! The staff was soo welcoming and frinedly, can’t describe enough! The hotel is simply a piece of art , i was there with my fiance and they spoiled us so much. The staff is one of the best parts, felt like home thank you so much!

This hotel is just gorgeous! It is situated near the Parliament building, right in the heart of the Old town. As a former palace repurposed as a hotel it gives you the feeling of grandiosity and elegance. The rooms are spacious enough and designed with taste. The breakfast is served in the former Sisi Hall ballroom, that is just breathtaking! The spa is also great! Finally, the personnel was extremely attentive and helpful all throughout our stay. We were allowed to keep our room for two additional hours free of charge! More than a 5 stars hotel!

I would highly recommend avoiding this hotel! I visited Aurea Ana in December 2021 and we had a horrible stay. The cleaning staff stole jewellery and cash and no one was held accountable. The items were hidden out of sight which means the staff went through my belongings. The hotel failed at contacting the police in a timely manner and therefore I never got my items back. Furthermore, i was later told by the police that the same cleaner had stolen before, and the hotel kept her on. The hotel also flagged by booking as cancelled on booking.com to prevent me from leaving reviews in order to stop other guests of being protected.

It's not at the level it aspires to be on, not even close. At the entrance you're greeted with champagne and sparkling water which is nice but don't let it fool you because this is where the nice experience ends. The room we got smelled like sewers, it was unbearable. We complained and decided to stay at the spa while the receptionist looked into it. The temperature of the spa was cold and don't let the pictures of the pool fool you, you can't swim in it because it's really small. There isn't a jacuzzi just two even smaller pools or should I say bathtubs, with different temperatures. After the spa we were told the smell was taken care of as we headed back up to our room. When we came into the room we were met with the exact same smell. We were shown another room but it smelled exactly the same, like sewers. We ended up changing to a different hotel. Getting our money back was a draged out process and took weeks. The first payment was wrong since it was less than we payed for so yet again we had to wait for a second payment.

An excellent hotel, the location, staff, breakfast and service are all great. The rooms are spacious and and high ceilings. We had particularly good service from Zsolt at breakfast who remembered my wifes custom omelette every morning which even I after years of marriage can't remember. Would highly recommend.

What a beautiful "palace"! We stayed here for two nights and felt like a queen. It is absolutely stunning hotel and right near the parlement which made the hotel a fantastic location to stay. The staff was excellent and I really need to mention Mr Zsolt in dining room who greeted us each morning with a warm welcome and was very informative and helpful to us. I truly would recommend this hotel without a doubt. The room was large and we enjoyed every moment of our stay.

An amazing and beautiful hotel, right next to the Parliament building and near the Danube, designed like a palace, and feels at its service like a palace. The suite was stunning, three bathrooms, a princess-like bed, a walk-in closet, a dresser, and exceptional decor. The dining room is amazing in its beauty and decorated like in an 18th century prom, the breakfast is delicious, a large selection, good coffee, desserts and excellent service. Highly recommend the hotel.

The Good: the hotel was very pretty and the location is great! The staff was attentive and Simba from the breakfast shift was absolutely stellar. The eggs Benedict were good and once you crack the system to toast all the pastry breakfast is way better. We also had a couple of good massages at the spa. The bad: The room smelled like sewage, the shower has no pressure, the don’t give you any shower caps or anything of the sort. The pool is a joke, it’s absolutely tiny. It’s a glorified cold jacuzzi. The room was right by the elevators and you could hear the Christmas music from the bed, which was extremely annoying. One of the two elevators did not go to our floor so it was a constant struggle to get upstairs as there were no stairs either. I don’t know why they put us on the floor where they know the elevator isn’t really going…
