The restaurant was exceptional and the hotel bar area was great too! We will definitely be returning to Budapest thanks to the hotel staff's hospitality and professionalism.

Any person that looks at it as they walk or drive by can see that it attracts a so called 'higher class '. I decided to stay there for a few days as it was part of a gift I gave my girlfriend for Christmas. My first day there was a nightmare. My bank froze my card as they thought a 'fraud ' was occurring. After a 2 and half hour call to my bank in Canada and with assistance from Hotel management, the confusion was cleared. I have to say how thankfull I am for the Hotel assistance.. A few days later , I received my final bill. I was surprised of a additional charge. It seems that the Hotel charged me for sauna use even though I didn't use it. They were questioned about this and I was informed that it was classified as ' incidental ' charges. After a very long discussion, and I feel that talking to them was like talking to a telephone pole as nothing was really settled. To put it bluntly, this is a 5 star hotel with a 2 star attitude. This will be the last time I stay there
d	dermot bruton on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Hotel. Staff were amazing and friendly. Really put us at ease and helped out when Lufthansa lost and found our luggage. Hotel is steeped in history with excellent views of the Danube and Szechenyi Bridge. Great location
C	Cassandra Stark on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everyone here was very nice and accommodating. It is in a prime location for all there is to see and do in Budapest. The spa amenities are fantastic. We loved the pool area. The rooms have great little balconies. I look forward to visiting again.

Bed is comfy and the bath tub is grand. This is a prestigious hotel! My wife and I have stayed in many luxury hotels around the world and this one is by far the best. We have a few more days and if anything changes I will update this review.
