I would describe a specific case that supports my assessment: Opel Corsa C starter wheel, engine does not rotate. After a starter replacement, it’s good for a few weeks, and then it starts again. That’s when I took them to renovate the starter. He’s good again for about a week, and then he starts stupidity again sometimes. Of course I took it back and they dealt with the matter under warranty. It has been tested until it is found that the starter has no problem, it turns the sprocket, only it rotates on the flywheel and does not drive the engine. Of course, this was not a warranty repair, but compared to being tested for 3 or 4 days before the defect was found to be 100%, a very minimal fee was charged.
