★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Az 1833-ban épült Axmann-ház Tata egyetlen klasszicista műemléke. Falán márványtábla hirdeti, hogy ebben a házban született jómódú kereskedőcsalád gyermekeként Bláthy Ottó Titusz gépészmérnök, feltaláló. Legjelentősebb találmánya az 1885-ben Zippernowskyval és Dérivel közösen megalkotott transzformátor. Elsőként kapcsolt össze hőerőművet vízierőművel. 1889-ben megszerkesztette a róla elnevezett fogyasztásmérőt.
A házban működött Leopold Sándor 1850-ben alapított tímár üzeme is.
 The Axmann House, built in 1833, is the only classicist monument in Tata. A marble plaque on the wall announces that as the child of a wealthy merchant family born in this house, Ottó Titusz Bláthy is a mechanical engineer and inventor. His most significant invention was the transformer co-created in 1885 with Zippernowsky and Déri. He was the first to connect a thermal power plant to a hydropower plant. In 1889, he edited the consumption meter named after him.
The tannery of Sándor Leopold, founded in 1850, also operated in the house.
