★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's not much of a castle ?, more like a midieval villa with a nice view on Tata lake. Around an hour away from Budapest by train ?. I visited in winter so there wasn't much to do, but the walk by the lake is quite nice

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to stop for a day and see the castle. The castle itself is small, but the area around is very beautiful, one can take walks around the lake. There are many restaurants around the lake, this place is also very popular at night especially in the weekends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Castle is not big but a very small area. There is a nice coffee shop there inside the castle and the view of the Lake is mesmerizing. You can relax, have a walk, can do cycling or running on the track around the lake. Best Place to go with the kids for a weekend outing.
