★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ruined and a bit dirty, but good to see, also good place for playing with children. There is a fireplace. On weekends it can be full with people. This was the place of shooting “The Stars of Eger”, from the historical novel by Geza Gardonyi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is an ok place. You have to hike up there. But not too high. Located a little bit off Budapest. This is not a real historical castle but a movie set built for filming. The movie is called Egri Csillagok I think. It is based on historical novel. I enjoy the castle regardless. It is a really interesting feeling to be there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today is the sunniest day of this year. It is a quite good place for a walk in spring, and the road is also friendly for baby stroller. You can have sports activities and picnics. It takes us about 1 hour to walk around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place for the sightseeing located not far from Budapest, like 1 hour away by bus. You need to hike little bit to reach the castle (which has interesting story behind it). Surrounding is great and there are many more places to visit at Pilisborosjeno.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic place to spend a sunny weekend with your family. Easy way to reach the castle. The kids will find a lot of places to discover, the dogs will love to go to the nature and smell every piece of grass.
It is located near to the city. Sometimes they keep knight's tournament and weapon demonstration and even you can try it yourself.
