 My dad was a soldier in ’68, they were the stats on set, so I looked at the castle with a different eye. It’s worth walking to the Camel Rock and looking down on them from above.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great area especially for kids. A flat, 1.5km walk from the parking area - follow the blue trail. It does get very busy so I recommend an early start. It is a replica of the Eger Castle that they made for a movie in the 1960's. There are some fantastic views and several hiking options. Along the way ut is worth a stop at Camel Rock and explore the many caves and rock formations.
Sadly, there is used toilet paper about every 10 meters along the trails and in the caves. (I find this also to be true along most of the Blue Trail). Why can't people use the toilet at home before they go for a walk?
