The atmosphere here is rich and romantic. Their bathroom is well hidden by mirrors. Everything is nicely hidden away to showcase you as the center of attention.
Now, onto the food. We order the ten course tasting menu along with wine pairing. All their wine pairing is white. Before we start on the tasting menu, they brought us bread and three kind of butter. Each butter is so different from one and another. It is a great balance. We also get to try four dish that is not on the menu as starters. It showcase the seasons, amazing.
After that it is onto the menu. Each dish have their own flair of service and taste. Each is as enlighten to the senses as the next. Unlocking so many well balance and earthy taste.
The whole time the service is beyond anything I have ever had. I feel royal here.
It is expensive but it is an extremely worthwhile experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They managed to make our dining experience like a 5 star theatre play. Attention to details, both in food and service was remarkable, while still having a personal, warm and open approach, as opposed to an overly elitist experience you might have in other top-end restaurants.
Thank you for making our night unforgettable.
P.S. Definitely go for the wine pairing together with your dish. I'm not even much of a white wine fan, or rather I wasn't.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fantastic experience. The 14-course tasting menu (just released in connection to the reopening Feb. 1, 2022) with 7 Hungarian white wine pairings was a mind-blowing experience. Classic (foie gras, caviar, truffle, pigeon, guinea fowl), yet truly original (e.g., sea bream in grape juice and Casino Egg) and the wine pairings were spot on, showing the diversity and quality of Hungarian white. Shows the extra skill of the sommelier and Babel's originality - and audacity to stand out serving only white in the pairing menu. So much care and technical skill was put into the food, the wine pairings - and the ambience and the staff were amazing. Extremely well-run Michelin-restaurant entering the European super league, closer to the level of 2 stars than 1 star. Bravo and our warmest recommendations! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not bad but not wow for the price paid. 14 dishes some very small and some are nice but nothing amazing. Service very robotic and not really genuine. They charge you for tap water and a hefty 15% service charge at the end of the meal which is too much. Overall not bad but would not recommend nor return.

I personally wouldn’t recommend the wine pairing as it was all whites. (They were delicious I just wanted a better variation)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a truly special restaurant! Wonderful and welcoming staff, exceptional presentation and hospitality, delicious wines and show stopping food. Do not miss this restaurant when in Budapest. Also really appreciated the intentional wine pairing with mostly Hungarian wines (wonderful). Highly recommend this restaurant!

The menu had 12 courses, looks cute.
Wine paring was all white, they are nice wines but too narrow in taste. The same type of wineglass from aperitif to sweet.
Some details may need to improve : the bathroom maintenance ( the hand towels were thrown on the floor, the cleaning room was open could see the mop), consistency ( my dessert had no deco but my friend did in the previous day).
3.5 / Overall was nice meal. Happy to see them reopen.
