Eine schöne Stadt präsentierte sich uns im gleisenden Sonnenlicht. Hier unser kleiner Reisebericht: Ohne Frühstück starteten wir um 08.00 Uhr auf der B54 nach Baja. Eine Karte bis Baja hatten wir nicht dabei, so orientierten wir uns lediglich an der Wegbeschilderung nach Baja. Gegen 08.50 Uhr wechselten wir in der Ortschaft Süköst von der B54 auf den Radweg nach Baja, welcher entlang der B51 verlief. Bei strahlendem Sonnenschein erreichten wir um 09.30 Uhr die Waiblinger Partnerstadt „Baja“ (Fotos) und frühstückten eine Kleinigkeit in einem Cafe in der Innenstadt. Im Cafew unterhielten wir uns mit einem älteren Mann, welcher uns alles über den Amoklauf an einer Winnender Schule erzählte. Nach einem netten Stadtrundgang verließen wir die Stadt wieder. On our 2013 bike tour along the Danube to the Black Sea, we also cycled to Baja, the twin town of Waiblingen. A beautiful city presented itself to us in the glistening sunlight. Here is our little travel report: Without breakfast we started on the B54 to Baja at 8 a.m. We did not have a map to Baja with us, so we only oriented ourselves to the signposting to Baja. At around 8.50 a.m., we switched from the B54 in the village of Süköst to the bike path to Baja, which ran along the B51. In bright sunshine we reached the Waiblingen partner town "Baja" (photos) at 9.30 am and had a little breakfast in a cafe in the city center. In the cafe we talked to an older man who told us everything about the shooting spree at a Winnender school. After a nice city tour we left the city again.
