Denevérek is laknak benne, nyugalmukra vigyázzunk, mivel ritka és különleges élőlények. Very spectacular open-air cave. I warmly recommend it to everyone. Bats also live in it, beware of their peace of mind as they are rare and special creatures.

Nyílása keletre néz, napjárástól függően a reggeli órákban a nap egyenesen besüt a nyílásba. Az Epöl faluszélén levő parkolóból az Őr-hegyre vezető zöld háromszög túristaút közelében van, egy "Barlang" feliratú tábla jelzi a helyzetét. A bejárat megközelítése innen egy jobbra található meredek ösvényen lehetséges kb. 50m. Egy könnyebben járható alig látható ösvényen is megközelíthető , ha továbbmegyünk felfelé a turistaúton kb. 100 m-t és élesen visszafordulunk jobbra szintben. 70 m long inland slope, wide, multi-entrance cave, sometimes with low ceilings. Its opening faces east, with the sun shining straight into the opening in the morning, depending on the weather. From the parking lot on the outskirts of Epöl village, near the green triangular hiking trail leading to Őr Hill, a sign marked "Cave" indicates its position. Access to the entrance is possible from here on a steep path to the right for approx. 50m. It is also accessible on an easier-to-see barely visible path, if we continue up the hiking trail for approx. 100 m and we turn sharply back to the right level.
Z	Zoltán Bácskai on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Egy könnyű kirándulás Epöl település szélétől. A zöld háromszög jelzésen haladva kb. 5-600 méter után lesz egy felirat, hogy "Barlang" és egy nyíl jobbra. Nos, ott nem feltétleül kell megfogadni az útbaigazítást, bár onnan valóba látszik már a narlang bejárata. Érdemesebb tovább menni 50-60 métert és egy éles jobbkanyarral egy alig látható ösvényen megközelíteni a balangot. Felhívom mindenki figyelmét,hogy szemétgyűjtő edény nincs! A faluban sincs! És legeslegfőképpen nem "illik" a világításhoz használt, lemerült elemeket, és a vizespalackot, papírzsebkendőt eldobálni a bejáratnál. Ha idáig fel tudja valaki hozni, akkor visszafelé is elfér ugyan abban a szatyoban. A kirándulás után úgyis érdemes megnézni a kb.4 km-re lévő bajnai Sándor-Metternich kastélyt, ott a parkolóban va szemétgyűjtő.... An easy trip from the outskirts of Epöl. A legegyszerűbb megközelítés, ha Bajna felöl érkezve az Epöl település tábla mellett a füves részre bekanyarodunk, ahol parkolni is tudunk. Innen mintegy 500 méterre van, egy jól járható úton. A barlang közelében egy elágazás lesz, itt a jobb oldali utat kell választani. A barlang előtt rövid emelkedő van, könnyen teljesíthető. Meets specifications. A járataiban denevérek is előfordulhatnak. Széles szájú bejárata gyermekekkel is könnyedén megközelíthető, sem az útvonalon, sem a barlangban nincsenek veszélyes részek. A nyújtott élmények miatt minden túrázónak ajánlott hely. The cave is hidden on the eastern side of Mount Guard. Its wide-mouthed entrance is easily accessible with children, and there are no dangerous sections along the route or in the cave.
