A 12 méter magas krómacél oszlop tetején a szépen kidolgozott Szent Korona nyugszik. A magyar Szent Korona Európa egyik legrégebben használt és mai napig épségben megmaradt beavató koronája. A magyar államiság egyik jelképe, mely végigkísérte a magyar történelmet legalább a 12. századtól napjainkig.
The monument was created by sculptor Gábor Mihály. It was erected in 2000 on the millennial anniversary of the founding of the state in Balatonvilágos.
At the top of the 12-meter-high chrome-steel column rests the beautifully crafted Holy Crown. The Hungarian Holy Crown is one of the oldest inaugural crowns in Europe and has survived to this day. It is one of the symbols of Hungarian statehood, which has accompanied Hungarian history from at least the 12th century to the present day.
