Bárna Kis-kő
Theme for the brave: Spiritual adventure of diving in the past from the Bükkábrány trees of the Pannonian lake through a supervolcanic eruption devastated rainforest to prehistoric sharks of a shallow sea at the Fossils of Ipolytarnoc
A survival tour is organized to a vanished era through the tactile exhibitions of the Ancient Pine Visitor Centre to the Bükkábrány trees, and then to the world-famous excavations of the geological trail after escaping from the dangers of the Miocene forest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Kis-kô Szilaspogony közigazgatási területén található, de Bárnából is jelzett turistautak vezetnek ide. Én a könnyebb, bárnai utat választottam, mely kb. 2 km-es sétával vezet ide.
A 381 m magas bazaltkúpon hajdan vár állhatott, erre régészeti adatok is utalnak, de a vár története mára feledésbe merült. A Kis-kô rétegvulkán, ahol a tufatakarót a láva áttörte. A lávában egy nagy méretű gázhólyag jött létre. Ebből maradt vissza a 12 m hosszú, 5 m széles sziklaüreg. A csepp alakú, megnyúlt üreg valódi lávabarlang.
A vulkáni működés itt is tufaszórással indult és a láva homokos agyagon keresztül jutott a felszínre.
A barlang tetejéről gyönyörű kilátás nyílik a környező hegyekre, dombokra.
A Kis-kő méltán lett a Novohrad-Nógrád Geopark része. Mindenkinek ajánlom ezt a szép utat.
There are hiking trails in the Kis-kő Szilaspogony administrative area, but also from Barn. I opted for the easier, barny way, which is approx. It is a 2 km walk from here.
The 381 m high basalt cone used to be a castle, as evidenced by archeological data, but its history is now forgotten. The Little Stone volcano, where the tuff shroud was broken by lava. A large gas bladder was formed in the lava. This left the 12 m long, 5 m wide rock cavern. The drop-shaped, elongated cavity is a real lava cave.
Again, volcanic activity began with blast-blasting and the lava reached the surface through sandy clay.
From the top of the cave you have a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and hills.
The Little Stone has rightly become part of the Novohrad-Nógrád Geopark. I recommend this beautiful road to everyone.
