★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is so beautiful! The moment we entered, a very calm waiter showed us some free seats. He radiated such a gentle positivity that you immediately felt welcome.
We ordered 2 lemonades and 2 pieces of (likely homemade) cake, which equaled about 10€ in cost. And it was more than worth it!
Sitting in this bar (which offers a huge list of drinks, and a smaller list of foods) will make you forget time and enable you to relax. Come here after a long day to wind down, I can recommend it a lot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a huge hit in the history of Buda pubs! They started off really well and keep building their success. As an expat in Budapest, I love being in that ambiance. The style of this pub is something between ruin pub and a casual stylish local pub. I already took many friends of mine to Béla. It is a good place to hang out with friends. Their food menu might look limited but incredibly delicious; those salads with grilled pies, the bulgur salata (especially when they serve with pomegranate balsamic, ask for it). Béla currently offers two different daily soup options if you're looking for something light. Their wine list has distinct flavors so you can easily find something you like. As I get more experienced with their menu, I will be posting more along with photos.
New favorite explored: Chicken ragout soup is exceptionally great!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A new, relaxed style bar / cafe on Bartok Bela str in distr. 11. It is a bit further from the typical tourist spots on the Pest side, frequented by locals and students of the nearby university. Moderate prices, good drinks selection. Food is nor for big dinner, more on the simpler quick bire side along with drinks but it is tasty and to be recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favorite places currently to go for a drink, study, hang out, etc. Absolutely beautiful and cool decoration and nice atmosphere.
Quite extensive menu with options for all tastes, affordable and overall nice service. If you want to go in the evening, definitely book a table a few days in advance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful comfortable casual restaurant with great friendly staff. Fabulous eclectic mix of art and decor make this place delightful. We had a perfect lunch. The sous vide chicken leg filet with skin, mashed potato cream, butter sauce with sweet pepperoni was to die for. The bagels are delicious too. Add excellent cocktails, and great draught beer for the complete experience.

Plants make feel the inside like o
utside, colours fulfill your sight and a unique fornitures selection make it really stand out as a rare example of a fine eatery.
Yes, do go for a coffee (very good selection of monoarabica beans), drink a fresh lemonade (try the classic one, it's simply deliciously balanced), try their selection of vegetable plates (the pita with cheese and beetroots is quite amazing) and just enjoy the uniquely pleasant atmosphere.
You'll bookmark it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience Was just a big joke, empty restaurant and it took 45 minutes for some board of local salami and 1 Cesar salad.
The cherry on top was when I asked for some extra bread it tooks an additional 15 minutes to come.
Once I explained my frustration and asked for the bill I even been charged for service charge and tips.
Ridiculous experience
