Benárd-barlang

It was not easy to find ... We started from Nyirád (towards Zalahaláp). At the very end of the village, on the right, we set off on a dirt road. It is not possible to go by car for a long time, because the road is used by tractors, so it is a great blow, and at the end a fence and a gate close the road. It was open when we were walking there, so we continued walking on the road that turned right. The hiking trail passes by a military practice track, although there are no signs yet in this section. On the other hand, a sign warns you soon that sniping, but if you don’t have practice right now, you can go on smoothly. At the end of the training area, the road forks, here you also have to turn right. Tourist signs start next to the forest. They lead well to the cave, although if we reach a wild roof clearing in the woods, we're past ... The last sign is on a thin tree and a bigger stone, but it's barely noticeable. The cave is on the top right, but the fallen spikes of the forest pines, which glide terribly in dry weather, are quite difficult to get up. (Down even more dangerous ...) The map also showed a geocache, but unfortunately someone took them ... Except for the inconveniences, it is worth visiting, especially in May, because our journey leads through fields full of plant rarities.

Good little trip. Especially that the Google map puts you somewhere else near 3 km. Use a tourist map, app.
