Templomuk, amelynek kezdete 1061-re datálódik igen sokáig működött, többször átépítették gótikus, majd végül barokk stílusúvá, s nem is a török elnyomás, megszállás, hanem egy 1794-es tűzvész okozta véglegesen a vesztét. A templom helyett újat építették, s a tűzből megmaradt köveket ennek építéséhez használták fel, így még tovább megsemmisítve a romokat. Ma a Vármegyeháza udvarán található néhány, jelzésértékű rom, inkább csak az egykori templom körvonalait lehet felfedezni. Önmagáért nem ér meg egy látogatást, de ha a ház múzeumában járunk, érdemes egy pillantást vetni rá. A monastery was founded here by the Benedictines at the invitation of Béla I. Their church, which dates back to 1061 and has been in operation for a very long time, has been rebuilt several times into Gothic and then Baroque style, and its destruction was not caused by Turkish oppression or occupation, but by a fire in 1794. Instead of a church, a new one was built, and the stones left over from the fire were used to build it, thus further destroying the ruins. Today, there are some significant ruins in the courtyard of the County Hall, but only the outlines of the former church can be explored. It’s not worth a visit on its own, but if you’re visiting the house’s museum, it’s worth taking a look at it.
