Minapi olvasgatásom során bukkantam arra hogy a bihari TRH bizhottság l836 ba kérte Széchenyi iSTVÁNT HOGY JÁRULJON HOZZÁ HOGY FESTMÉN YKÉPE a Biharmegyei Közgyülés épületébe elhelyezetessék.Kérték,hogy e célből őt valamely hires képiróval megfesthessék- A levelet szerényen de elfogadta a gróf sőt javasolta hogy egy hires képirót ismer - Barabás Miklóst akinek szivesen ejánlja e munka elvégzését. Mondván ezzel segitik ,támogatják őt. Majd a közgyülés határozatba foglalta a nü elkészitését.Amire felajánlásokat tzettek Elsőként Fráter ur majd Tisza miniszterelnök és sok más. Sőt Debrecen városa is. Miért irtam? Hát jó lenne ha a muzeum utánna járna melyik ez a Barabás kép és gondoskodjon arról hogy ez a BIHARI Megyeházába kerülne. Üdv.
