Louis Bleriot-nak állít emléket, aki első emberként repülte át a La-Manche csatornát, ami talán még nem lenne elegendő, hogy pont itt állítsanak neki emlékművet, de a kőtáblára vésett szövegből kiderül: 1909-ben a mai József Attila lakótelep helyén lévő katonai gyakorlótérről szállt fel motoros repülőgépével, "amely esemény egyben a magyar légi közlekedés nyitányát is jelentette". Nos nem akarok kekeckedni, de valahogy ide is kellett jutnia, azaz előbb kellett leszállnia motoros gépével valahonnan érkezve hozzánk, ami inkább volt így a nyitány. Érdekes az alkotásról írt történet a köztérképen. Kürthy András írja: "A József Attila lakótelepen lakom és a helyieknek szerkesztünk egy internetes újságot. 2013–ban írtam egy cikket az első magyarországi motoros repülésről, illetve arról, hogy ennek a történelmi repülésnek érdemes lenne legalább egy jelképes léptékű emléket állítani a lakótelepen. ...dobtam egy email-t Ferencváros főépítészének, hogy kéne legalább egy kis emléktábla a SPAR falára. Azt válaszolta, hogy fontolóra veszik a dolgot. Gondoltam, hogy ez amolyan lerázós szöveg és a dologból úgy sem lesz semmi. De lett!" A mű alkotója Kontúr András, és 2015 október 16-án avatták fel. Talán meg kellett volna gondolni, hogy miképpen legyen elhelyezve! You would be in the order of the memorial, but the place is not really worth it!
