★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most expensive and least tasty breakfast I've had in a week. Ordered Benedict eggs and they've put so much sauce on it made the bread fall apart. Also a lot of things that were not available although they were on the menu.
Nice atmosphere and music tho.

The planned locarion was full so we stumbled upon Blue Bird Cafe fabulous breakfast, fabulous service and a lovely cool quirky interior. Would highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good coffee shop in the center of Budapest. The coffee is excellent. They also have some pastry to go with it. The service is very friendly. The place has a lot of charm and is special. It is worth going.

It was 10am in the morning and we needed our morning coffee. We walked past this lovely cafe a few times and knew we had to go inside. They grind their own coffee so if you love what you try, you can definitely bring a pack home.
We ordered the Creamy Iced Latte. And thought we have to try to famous Unicum Hungarian Liqueur. Which tastes like Jagermeister mixed with a Chinese herbal tonic. I honestly didnt mind it, and they were generous to fill up 2 shot glasses to send us on our way.
The people there are so nice, so will definitely return to try the crepes!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The waiters were very friendly and helpful. The decor was really relaxed and visually appealing. The americano and French press were both solid cups of coffee. Both very pleasing and large enough. The pecan cake was simply delicious.
It took them a while to come up to take our order (8-9 minutes) but we weren’t in a rush so that wasn’t an issue. That being said, there was only one other couple in the café. Prices were standard for this area which means a bit pricey for Budapest, in general, but expected. I still enjoyed it and would go back.
