Majdnem a falu összes házát freskó diszíti amelyeket a cigány mondavilág ihletett, de sok képnél a magyar mondavilág is megjelenik illetve a mesék is helyet kapnak, sokszor szerepel a hétfejű sárkány. A táj szépsége is sok ihletett adott az alkotóknak. Van olyan freskó, ahol buddhista-hindu elemeket is felfedezni illetve a feketék szolgaságát feldolgozó ábrázolással is találkozunk a faluban.
Járnak errefele "idegenek", tehát a hely biztonságosnak mondható. Tömegközlekedéssel alig megközelithető.
The famous fresco village: Bódvalenke. Almost all the houses in the village are decorated with frescoes inspired by the Gypsy legend, but in many pictures the Hungarian legend also appears and the fairy tales also take place, the seven-headed dragon is often featured. The beauty of the landscape has also given the creators much inspiration. There is a fresco where you can also discover Buddhist-Hindu elements and a depiction of the servitude of blacks in the village.
There are "strangers" here, so the place is safe. It is barely accessible by public transport.
