★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommended! We had an amazing stay here celebrating our anniversary. The cottage is just as beautiful as in the photos with many personal touches and well thought out details for visitors (plenty of hooks and storage, electrical outlets, big windows with mosquito nets and frosted section for privacy, many lighting options and a well equipped kitchen). The private garden is perfectly maintained with outdoor lights, tables, chairs and a bbq set up for guests to use.
Zebegeny is a picturesque artist’s town in the Danube bend, just 50 minutes direct by train from Budapest and a lovely excursion from the city. The Bonne Vie Cottage is right in the center of Zebegeny on a quite street, perfect for exploring the area. Owner Márta was very friendly and helpful with everything we needed, she is a designer and has clearly put a lot of thought and love in designing the space. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit.
