Best Campground in Hungary

H	Hasan Mamar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ very relaxing place, great nature around, people working there are nice and speak English. the internet connection was not the best and the restaurant serves delicious food but no vegetarian options. in total it was great experience.
M	Merel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff, despite the language barrier. The pitches are not too cramped and the camping is in a nice location near the river. The male showers were a little small and dated, the female showers were ok. Other facilities are okay as well, although also somewhat dated. This place also has a swimming pool and fire pit and is quiet and peaceful except for a loud train that passes on the other side of the river, every hour or so.

c	chris v mulken on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Camping needs maintanace. Toilets are old, showers have bad drainage and brushing teeth while somebody behind is peeing is terrible. Sometimes too many people which is nit good. During last few years it is getting worse. Staff is very friendly and surrounding is ok. Pool is biggest plus. Restaurant next door is now very good. Used to be bad.

The camping site is situated directly next to the Donau river and less than an hour drive from the capital city Budapest. Thanks to the good facilities it is an ideal place to stay with your family. The sanition is clean, the swimming pool is very nice and also the restaurant is very good. The sites themselves are mostly situated underneath the trees, so especially during hot summer days, it is a perfect place to set up your tent or caravan. Also for camping as a group as we did, I realy recommend this camping site. You have places that are relatively separated from the rest of the camping so you don’t bother other guests with your activities. Finally I’d like to thank the hostess for her understanding and flexibility during our pleasant stay!
G	Georg Höfler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice camp but the restaurant was really bad. I got for 3200ft a small hand of plain salat und 3 slices plain cheese. No vinnegar, oil or even salt and pepper. Badest meal on my trip.
p	pushbiker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not for cyclist! 3800 per night! 10,70 €. That is not to accept. I don't support so a business. On the internet site the price is 6,71€!!! So I turn around and go again. All cyclist take an other camping.
T	Tokár Róbert on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most beautiful part of the Danube bent. Best to camp outside. A lot of shower and toilet to use. The place looks clean. There is a good restaurant so you can eat here. If you stay in the houses you get free shower gel, hand soap, towel and hangers. Come with vikes and visit the Pilis mountain or just ride flat between Vác and Zebegény. Ride up to Visegrád and sit down for a moment by the sightseeing point in the corner by the road to the castle. Negativ: even if the place looks clean sleeping was not comfortable because of the old and stinky sheets and bedding. The bedroom and the bathroom door can't be closed. We have used the campers bathroom. We have stayed 2 nights and rented one house. I can't recommend to rent a house for 2 couple. It can be comfortable for 4 guys or maybe a family with one or two kids.
