Its funny, you can't make a reservation ahead of time, ig you want to get a hair cut you need to sit there and wait. I didn't feel that the hair cut was really different and worth the wait and the price (high compared to other places and Budapest generally) but it has a cool vibe and attracts a lot of tourists

Such a great place - went the one day for a haircut and a shave, both were very nice and the result turned out great. They threw in a beer as well, making the wait a bit shorter (no appointments, so you may have to wait outside for a bit) - and the whole thing coming in at just 6 000 Ft made it really worth it for me. Came back the other day to get the products I was given for my haircut, they weren't too pricy either - and the guys were helpful with tips on the usage of the products. Good stuff!

Terrible place to get a hair cut. The service is one of the worst there is. First, you are being totally ignored, I've went there twice in two consecutive days, and waited over an hour, outside. No one could care less, and when I approached, they just told me to keep waiting. Second, during the time I was waiting, many Hungarians passed me. I don't lack ambition, I just think it's ridiculous you have to fight for a haircut. I left in both of the times without getting my hair cut. When I came for the third time I waited only half an hour, I wasn't offered anything, definitely not beer or whatever people say here they offer. The haircut was ok, he did what I asked, but I will never cut my hair in Barber Shop again. The place is being managed poorly, so if your time is valuable to you, don't get near that place.

Been there twice, they are a cool bunch of fellas, creating a good atmosphere fit for a barbershop and good cuts also. Kudos.

Went here on Saturday without an appointment. My friend and myself had one of the best haircuts ever. The barber was careful, focussed and diligent in his attention to detail.! Fully recommend this place!!

Hands down one of the best cuts and beard trims I’ve ever had. Walk ins are welcome. No appointment necessary. Drink given straight away and a very knowledgeable and professionally barber attended to all my needs. Everyone is fluent in English as well as other languages.

I had such a good time observing the workers and reading their mixed reviews here that they got over the years while I was in the shop I thought I'd write another one that they won't read. Afterall, why else would they keep getting the same type of negative reviews over so many years. Anyone would think any business will try improve especially in this case all that is required is that they say hello to the customers and speak to them when they walk in or when they stand in front of you too polite to interrupt whatever it was they were doing at the time. I wonder what is the longest time someone has sat in the shop before being spoken to? I get it, they are busy. When not cutting hairs they need to take their smoking breaks to prepare themselves for the next customer. Their focus on their regular customers deserves a praise, in fact they are so focused that everyone else seems to be invisible to them. Giving them 2 stars is quite good considering I didn't actually get an hair cut but since I was there for over half an hour I think I am entitled to share my review. The second star is for how satisfied the other customers seemed, the ones who actually got a haircut unlike myself and this other customer with his son; all three of us happily went to their competitors nearby to get the opposite treatment and likely a better cut. In case no one had told you, which is highly likely the case, you need to make an appointment.

Booking system sucks. They started an online booking system a while ago to get rid of the queues. Fine. So I book appointment for the last haircut before Xmas for 24 Dec @ 9am. Got reminder and confirmation. Excellent. I arrive the shop just on time. Shop closed, nobody around, no phone numbers. Only sign says open from Mon- Sat between 10-22. I wait until 10.20. Nobody around... This is not acceptable guys, sorry.
