Budget Rent-A-Car, that has grown into one of the largest car renting and leasing company in the world, was founded in 1958. Their desire was to offer customer-friendly quality service at a reasonable price and it has developed along those values throughout decades to become one of the best in the rent-a-car business today. With more and more experience behind its back, following its foundation in America, Budget first set foot in most of the countries in Europe, and finally establishing more than 3400 locations in five continents. Now in 128 countries our global network offers a variety of services, focusing on customer satisfaction and continuous development, adapting the characteristics of the local market and combining them with the flexibility that is needed to keep pace with the modernity and innovations of the business world.

As a result of our efforts, Budget has been awarded several times as „The Car Rental Company of the Year”, won „Superbrands” award in 2009 and recently was voted as „The Best Car Rental Company” by customers at the Business Excellence Award 2016.

In 2015, Budget Hungary began its operation under the Turkish-based Otokoc Otomotiv that is a member of the very successful Koc Holding, owning licences of Budget Rent-A-Car in several countries. Our goal is to continue our operation following the long-established values and advance our growth and improvement in a more dinamic way, still keeping our valued customers in focus.
