The camping itself isn't so bad, it's quite expensive but thermes are included in the price. The problem is that the receptionists don't speak a word of English, and that's unacceptable, they only speak German and ungherian. So, take care of it!!!

Very nice pool, clean and nice enough toilets and shower. Close enough to Kesthely city center and city beach. Basically on top of cycling paths. We were there slightly out of season and that was probably reason for closed restaurant in the camping and almost not present personal, which do not speak english (as most of the older people in hungary) so if you have some basics of german, you will use them.

Camping was fine, the pool has a good vibe, but the only thing I give 2 stars is because the toilet was so disgusting, even after cleaning that this is not acceptable for me.

Very nice campground. Saved us when we came to the location at late evening. It is possible to check in next day. Separated reinforced parcels with electricity and water connection. PS: Very good smooth toilet paper. ?

The campsite is located close to the center, but there is no bus line nearby. The nearest stop is about 500 m away. There is about 1.5 km to the train and bus station. The swimming pool (Libas Strand) is about 1 km. At a distance of about 70 m from the campsite border there is a rather busy 1-track railway line. On Sunday morning, at 07:00 church bells wake up everyone - the church is about 1 km from the campsite. The nearest shop (CBA) is at a distance of about 500 m on the main street (Tapolca utca). Store quality is average - but they have a good selection of bread and sometimes fresh vegetables. Good iced coffee and ice cream can be found approx. 500 m from the campsite in Retró Fagyigyár near Jegenye utca. Prices lower than in the city center. The nearest good restaurant with moderate prices is Jóbarát Vendéglő at the intersection of Martinovics utca and Tapolcai utca. Reception: formalities can be arranged only between 09:00 and 11:00. At all other times, there is only a guard who takes an ID card or passport for every driver who arrives. The documents are returned the next day after check-in. It is best to take any other document of minor significance. The gate is closed at 22:00 but if you come later you can enter the camp. WI-FI covers around 70% of the campsite. Internet transfer is acceptable. Campsite structure: there are streets with separate plots. Quite a lot of trees. Electricity connection sockets have 6 amp protections. This is not enough to power a typical electric kettle. You need to take a low power kettle (1200-1300 W). You should think carefully about which plot to choose, because the price for the largest (approx. 100 m2) is quite high. There is a swimming pool (1.2 m deep) with clean water at the campsite. Toilets are located at the end of the main alley. They can be assessed as clean. Good standard. A chemical toilet is on the left side of the toilet building. Racks for washing dishes - only 3 - sometimes there is a queue. There is a washing machine at the campsite. The use of the washing machine is payable. 1 chip costs HUF 2800 ~~ PLN 36. The campsite is quite expensive (for a Polish tourist), but offers a good standard.

The camp itself is very clean and quiet. Also the price for the night is very good. We are keeping one star, because the reception is open only for one hour a day and some "modernization" would help the camp.

We only stayed 2 days because it was unbearable with all the mosquitoes everywhere. There is a restaurant which is not open. There is no ice cream store or pedicure/massage salon. The swimming pool was the only upside of this camping. The toilets were dirty. Didn't shower here because it was also dirty. We were with 5 persons(100m3) And for 2 days we paid 27350HUF/78 euro. Oh and don't go to the ice cream store 100m further up. they scam you.
