the woman at the counter did not even move from her chair to go to the counter to serve us.
The whole hungarian celebi group is one of the top when it
comes to bad customer treatment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This company is a complete scam. I arrived at the airport 2 hours and 10 minutes prior to my flights departure. I go to the check in window and the female check in attendant says, you haven’t checked in yet so I can’t help you. Told us she couldn’t check us in even though the posted departure times still showed “check in now”. She then said to check in online.
Being from out of the country, our phones don’t work so well. Even though she is the “check in” attendant, she couldn’t help us. We attempt to check in on our phones. We log in, show her the screen and ask where we are supposed to check in since it’s the same option as the day before (check in at the airport). She then looks at the time and says, sorry you are passed the 2 hour mark. You will have to go to the main office to check in.
Ridiculous.
We walk over to the main office and the male attendant tells us there is nothing he can help with. We told him our situation, said we were here before the “2 hour” mark and tried to check in. He was still unwilling to help. He then tells us it’s going to be a fee of $133!!!!!!!!! More than what we paid for the flights!!!!!! Then still said there is nothing he can do and would not call anyone for us to speak to. This is a ridiculous company. Your organization is a scam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I been there 28.06.21 around 14:00 oclock. There is a man whic one is sitting left side for Qatar airline. He is so arrogant and rude against people. I tryed to ask him samethink he stated to speak Hungarian with me. I asked him to speak English. He started to act like a teenager and discrime me. I get out and came back for get his name for write a comment about him to Celebi. Then i found him when he was arquing and speaking wery rude and arroganct way to another family. Absolutly he has same sosial and sycologist problems.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Celebi employees assigned to the boarding gate for a flight to Malaga denied my boarding and ERASED me from the flight manifest, because I didn't have a Covid test or a vaccine, though I was coming from Romania only transiting Hungary (no tests required either way), and both Romania and Hungary were on Spain's green list at the moment (21.07.2021).
I wasn't the only passenger in that situation, yet some of us RAN to get tested ad make it back on time - they said if we make it back 5-10 min before takeoff, it's OK. The plane was standing right in front of us, people still boarding it, I didn't even need a bus transfer....
Got back on time, they said they cancelled my ticket (and I had 2 small kids with me!!!) because they didn't think I'd make it back!!!!!!!!!!
And I showed them official documents stating no tests required!!!! Absolute disgust... and a lawsuit on the way...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The crew at the check in desk at Budapest Airport are totally unprofessional and unbelievably rude. They speak with the passengers as with a piece of s*it. I was asking totally polite to open more desk after a 1.5 hour waiting the lady was almost spiting at me and sweared in Hungarian. I guess at celebi being rude and swear with the passengers are job requirements...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The level of incompetency is incredible and customer service is below any standards I've seen.
The employee left the checkin desk way before the time and we had to run around through the airport, beg other employees to call and help us to check in our luggage and not miss the flight.
Not only that no one came back to the desk but we had to carry our luggage to the gate, throw all the (expensive) liquids at security and then to find out that the flight is delayed and we have to wait after all the hassle and embrasement we've been put through.
Absolutely dissapointing and frustrating! One star is way above the reality of this company's service level!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid their services at any cost! My lost luggage is currently being handled by them, called all day long using all the available phone numbers and no one ever picks up. Worst experience ever! I have no idea where my luggage is and I can't get a hold of anyone.
