Here we spent the long weekend of August 20 with two small children (ages 3 and 1). We basically felt great and left with good experiences, but I’ll also share a bad experience or two to see if anyone can help. It is a smaller, family-run hotel with no confusing congestion. We stayed in a nicely renovated, tastefully furnished, two-room family suite with good value for money compared to Lake Balaton. As a small child, I especially appreciated the cleanliness, which could serve as an example for most of the higher rated hotels I have seen. (There were a couple of gicks here, too, for example, something hanging on one of the walls might have been splashed by some cleaners, the overflow and edge of the otherwise white washbasin was pretty black, but I think it happens everywhere, no matter how hard you try to keep it clean. to maintain.) Every day our room was thoroughly tidied up, towels were changed even more often than necessary (not only were they brought fresh instead of thrown on the floor), and even my daughter’s stuffed animals were taken care of when arranging the beds. :) It was a good time, we just went to the room to sleep, but it was a great feeling to arrive in a clean, tidy environment in the evenings. Also beyond the three-star standard, the quality of half-board care, especially the lavish breakfast. Good quality, wide selection of baked goods, vegetables and fruits, plentiful and varied hot and cold food, especially for children (they had porridge / milk porridge / etc. every day). At dinner we ran into a few imperfect dishes, but we never starved, we always found delicious food for our teeth. What could be improved: most of the staff were very kind and courteous, especially with our children, e.g. the cleaning ladies are fairies, but we had trouble in the restaurant. Rarely, but reluctant, rude communication also occurred (One of the young waiters never greeted us, and one morning the following dialogue was said: - "Excuse me, can we have some cold milk?" The waitress doesn't even look up, gesturing toward the counter. - "There is." After a second of silence, he finally looks up and sees that the milk bottle is empty. - "Yeah, he's not there, I'll bring it, hi-hi."), But what was really weird was that we had to hunt down a waiter four times out of dinner five times to order a drink. They once came there to ask themselves if they could bring something to drink. Most of the time, they eagerly picked up the tables, but didn’t come to pick up the order from newcomers. There were also places where all the free tables were used, there we were fooled around at a table, a waitress came and first took down the next table, where we would not have been able to get there, only then fenced the line to the table we "picked out". These are not big things, but they are annoying. Even in the current times of labor shortages, I find it difficult to accept that capitalization is becoming less and less typical in our small country.

Pleasant place, many opportunities for recreation. Very kind, courteous service, as the receptionist kindly put it while handing the mini golf supplies to my son and me: "The point is to have fun" I think that says it all about the hotel’s attitude towards guests. Half-buffet breakfast / dinner, the chef / waiter is in front of the tables, they must ask for the selected dish. The food is very tasty, even salmon, venison can also be part of the menu. Negative: Do not overdo the portions, drinks served at dinner, eg mineral water, cola are not part of the half board, they are charged separately to the bill.

I spent a wonderful week here with my wife and little girl. The reception was already extremely cordial. The staff of the Hotel are very kind and helpful one by one. The food is delicious and varied. Perfect location for families. For those looking for an active holiday, Mecca, wellness, private beach, tennis, bowling, billiards, table football and mini golf are also available. In short: fantastic. Hotel Club Füred is a not very large, more family-run hotel with a lot of excellent services: wellness (various saunas, swimming pool), bowling, bicycle rental, tennis courts, mini golf, private beach for those arriving in summer (we were in autumn), etc. The helpfulness and kindness of the staff is endless, the restaurant offers fabulously delicious food, the rooms are comfortable, well equipped, spacious and of course clean. The good thing is that Balton doesn’t just offer great recreation in the summer, and this place is open year-round. I recommend to everyone.

Someone once wrote that this place is an island of tranquility. That's exactly right. When you arrive, the outside world disappears. The people who work there are very nice. All services are super.
