★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Connections Guesthouse was perfect for a quick layover in Budapest. Spacious, tastefully decorated rooms equipped with cable TV and DVD options. If you're interested in experiencing the nightlife and burgeoning cafe culture of Budapest, Connections is located centrally on Kiraly Utca, one of the main attractions of Budapests Jewish District. Visit Gosdu Udvar for breakfast, explore the Neo-Gothic architecture of Parliament, pilgrimage to the Great Synagogue and St. Stephen's Basilica and relax by night at any of the chilled out lounges and cafe bars. For the more adventurous and excitable traveller, you can't go down any street in the 7th district without being drawn to the run down warehouse party vibes of the ruin bars that populate this side of the Danube River. Favourites include Szimpla, Kerplung, Instant and Fogasház.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location. Very good rate. Helpful friendly hosts. The beds make a lot of noise when you move. You can hear pretty loudly upstairs people walking as it is typical with wooden floor structures. No problems with doors and locks as some other reviews said on TripAdvisor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Homely and quiet at least during our stay. we were in room 1 and heard very little noise through the evening despite being close to the entrance foyer. Opted for the breakfast option at 6€ and this was sufficient to keep hunger away until lunch. Eggs cooked to order, sausage, meats and cheeses, cereals, yogurts, fruit. Location is very good being just off Andrassy. Room was basic but comfortable and clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Janos was wonderful. He was consistently nice, helpful and just came off as a nice guy. We were pleased with our room. The separation with the bedroom above was a nice change and worked well for our needs. Everything was extremely clean and Janos was always quick to ask if we needed anything or if everything was going well.
