This place ripped me off! Don't exchange here. Shortchanged me, when i went to complain the woman pretended to be on the phone and was panicked wouldnt speak to me. Stay away!!!

They refuse to send money to some countries under the pretext that the manager thinks that the transaction will be blocked therefore you might waste your time by going their so find another one as I did.

The only place in budapest with moneygram service, rest dont exist or they dont provide service, so just come to this one right away and dont waste your time :)

A currency exchange bureau that looks a little smarter than your average one. I give one star for the 24 hours service and two stars for processing transactions neither quickly nor particularly slowly. I take away two stars for the bad attutude of the staff towards customers. A few locals apparently wanted to jump in front of me. While the girl behind the counter was attending to my transaction, they made some requests to her while jumping restlessly like they had a nervous condition and patting their papers impatiently as if to say, "the tourists will take forever, we will be just a minute!" To be clear, i was patiently waiting will the girl processed my transaction. She gave me a form to sign and i tried to get her attention by saying "excuse me!" upon which she interrupted moodily, "I tooold youu!! You sign there!" I answered, "I need a pen!", signalling to the pen she forgot to hand to me. If you are due to recieve an amount by Moneygram that's a cent short of a Euro, she tried to round down to a whole euro amount. I pointed this out and she said, "The smallest change we handle is 50 cents" so she reluctantly gave me a 50 cent coin. I don't think that's proper practice. And when i asked for just a small currency exchange to buy a few provisions, she told me to give back the 50 cent, which put me into a higher fee bracket and i ended up getting less money than if i had not given given her the extra 50 cent!! But she wanted to pay me in notes not coins. What kind of currency exchange bureau cannot handle coins!?? No matter the size of the transaction, an unprofessional approach is a big turn off with any service. It's not the only place with MoneyGram service but the main redeeming factor is it's 24 hours service.

No matter how late I arrive home (Budapest), I can always count on them. At least in the past decade :)

I would like to give less than one star but I cannot. The woman who works there doesn’t even know a single word in English! Zero communication, she’s working like a robot, but unfortunately a very bad and bizarre one! Never change there if you are the foreigner in Budapest.

Big scamers, be aware, they charge me two time

It's not open 0-24.They didn't change money for me on 7:45AM. The reason was: workers changing shift so they told me to come back 8:45AM. So this 0-24 opening is very deceptive and can cause problem
