I did not know what to expect because previous reviews were quite different. My experience was that staff were really nice and polite. They explained me how it worked in a very careful way.

It’s just a basic bar similar to Budapest’s most popular AlterEgo but with some extra hidden gems and features. Honestly, after seeing online reviews we weren’t sure if it’s suitable for us. Be aware about a little oddly internal rules of paying - free entry and cheap drinks but minimal consuption of 1000 forints. Take a safe space for a peace of paper given at the entrance because there is a pretty hight fine in case of loss the paper. I would recommend to put it under your phone case. We had a tasty cold beers and enjoyed relaxed atmosphere even bar wasn’t very crowded. Staff and visitors were at any age and respectful. Not smelly and clean toilets. There is a TV with teasing content at the main bar. Watching room with a bigger projection screen and more privacy lighting. Bigger part of the club is around the corner where you can see and find “open minded” fun. Everyone can choose what borders suites his mood well. Worth of give it a try even though of so many bad reviews from girls which are not allowed and guys which don’t understand club conditions and relates responsibilities. Peace! ✌️

Worst worst worst service in town ‼️ the bartender were rude, disrespectful and even though the hostess did explain us in advance the way they do the charges at the end they did trick Maths to charge an extra DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

I have seen many negative feedbacks with i had decided to go here. To be honest not in weekend was Wednesday night bit quite and nothing unusual. I got in had the paper from the doorman told me I have to spend minimum 1000 huh and voala. I spent more than 1000 huh I left without any problems. The barman was ok, but I didn’t go to explore the place. Just at the bat. I gave 4* for the price. Bit expensive

After reading many negative reviews I was a bit hesitant visiting Coxx. The staff were very friendly and music was good with a nice crowd. This is a men only gay bar. So the lady who made a negative review and complained that they wouldn't let her in, that is the reason. I think some of the negative reviews are from people who do not understand the entrance policy and how paying for drinks works. You get a ticket upon entering which is a receipt for your coat check. The cost of drinks when ordered at the bar are added to the ticket. So you don't actually pay for your drinks when you are ordering them. At the end of the evening when you want to leave , you hand your ticket into the bar and they add up the total cost of all your drinks. You then pay for your drinks and then go upstairs to collect your coat when you leave. It is vital you do not lose the ticket! This is because it is the only record of the drinks that you have had and hence if you lose the ticket then you have to pay a penalty of about €35. That only seems fair since the bar would lose out as there is no record of the drinks you had. Yes it's quite an unusual drinks policy but once you understand the concept it is not difficult. Would I recommend this place. Yes. Will come back again.

Make sure to get your ticket stamped before you leave. The bar tender was too drunk to stamp the ticket and without electronic payment I would not have been able to prove it. I thought this place is okay, but make sure you know the rules because the staff did behave like a**holes, unfortunately. Bad reputation deserved.

Seems like a nice enough place.. maybe it's been closed for awhile which is why no one has written a review.. I went on a Thursday night there was maybe 30 people inside I got one drink I stayed there for about an hour there's phone reception downstairs which is great, go and check it out and see for yourself. I can confirm that you have to keep your ticket and you pay at the end when you're leaving at the bar.
