Very nice little Mill!

A small open-air museum

The mill has been beautifully renovated and the surroundings are tidy and clean.

It's a bit run-down, but it's beautiful. A short, earthy, grassy road leads there.

It was surprising that a washbasin was also available for visitors. We missed the wind shovels a bit, but we felt good nonetheless.

In super condition, without true sails. It is inhabited by pigeons, but it is a good place to hike

Fábiánsebestyén is a village in the Szentesi district of Csongrád-Csanád county, between Körös and Maros. In the old days, there were also two windmills in operation, but now only one remains. The so-called Cserna (or János Horváth) windmill is in good condition next to the road to Gádoros. This is due to several renovations. The mill was built in the late 1880s and was only used to grind fodder grain. It operated until 1954 and was declared a monument in 1972. The mill in the XX. by the end of the 19th century it was badly damaged, only the brick wall stood in the wilderness without a roof. The buildings belonging to it have been destroyed before. Completely renovated in 2001, it has been given a new roof structure, sails, and interior structure so it can once again shine in its old light. The sails have since been taken down because the wind has damaged them. According to the information, the key to the mill could be requested by anyone from the Mayor’s Office or the Rescue Center, but when we were there, it was open.
