On the advice of a dear acquaintance of Gardony, Hajni (manicure-pedicure), we visited the "Csipetnyi Transylvania" store in the center of Gardony and met with "divine" things. I bought delicious, original Halva, cold cuts made from REAL meat, and I thought I would also taste "Debrecen", which was once my favorite. Once in the former Haller Street market with my colleagues a so-called we ate Debrecen at a standing buffet table, and when the opposite colleague stabbed his fork, the juice of the Debrecen sausage splashed on my glasses and shirt. Well, I haven't eaten this kind of Debrecen for at least thirty years. From Vienna to Brussels to Berlin, you can get as poor, "sawdust" Debrecen and sausages in four-star hotels as we do everywhere in Hungary. I’m already used to these “catches”. Please believe me, I have not eaten such delicious Debrecen for at least 30 years! "Divine" was delicious, and what a miracle: it remained greasy under the plate. When I was a soldier (1974-1976), I was still real in Debrecen, I hated washing the yellow plastic plates that remained greasy after that, when I was on military service. Of course, we only had cold water in the 1,200-seat (!) Kitchen, the old soldiers (I was bald at the time) wanted to cut their semi-greasy plates to my head. Why am I writing all this? For those who like real, good products, visit "A Touch of Transylvania" and similar stores. The goods are brought from Transylvania in a closed, refrigerated van. I don't come from there, I visited it once in my life with a group of friends (Valea Lupului - Wolf Valley) and I didn't taste them there, but believe me - believe me, these delicacies, which I bought in this little "Pinch of Transylvania" shop, neither at home in west of us, can’t be taken, neither in shops nor in four-star hotels, from Dublin to Malta, because I’ve been to about fifty countries. I recommend to everyone!
