★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place to visit. The Vertes mountain itself is breath taking with it's green trees. The castle is high up, it takes a little hike to reach. There are two ways to reach it, one is on a built out road and the other is the back approach with a steep hiking trail and wooden stairs for those want a little challenge. The view from the castle is amazing! You can see the Vertes mountain behind, the Bakony mountain in front and the surrounding small villages in between. There is no admission to visit the castle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a little gem at the foot of the Vértes mountain in the gate of many interesting and exciting hiking trips. The entry is free and that is a big plus nowadays. During the last few decades it has been renovated so much care and love when you visit it you are going to feel it. Even the castle is tiny but the view from the top is amazing. By the way you only need to pay for the parking which is 500 HUF for a full day. It is getting more popular and I believe not undeservingly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Peaceful surroundings with nice view from the castle. Worth visiting.There are 2 ways to get up to the castle. Easy way route or a little slight challenge via the hiking route. Parking was only 500ft for the entire day. There were 2 little stalls open selling food and beverages.
