★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best view-points in Hungary. Definitely worth the trip. After spending the night at Nagy-hideg hegy I was here after less than one hour. After climbing the ~133 steps of the tower you are rewarded with excellent views. To the north you can see across the whole of Slovakia until the Tatra mountains in Polen. Close around you observe the beautiful landscape of the Börzsöny hills. Quite spectacular. The tower is in great shape as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not the easiest hike I've done in my life, but it is definitely worth it. If you start from Diósjenő, the first few kilometres will be on asphalt, before switching to the forest roads. It's quite a long journey, but the steepest part is the last few kilometres, which is definitely pretty exhausting. The panorama from the lookout is exceptional, you can see as far as the Tatras.
