★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place, with very kind people and spectacular sight of North-Hungary. You will find delicious meals, decent artisanal beers at very frendly prices and clean rooms with surprisingly comfortable beds (as long as you don't expect royal apartments up there).
I recommend the well-worth tour to Csóványos with the renewed watchtower in the magical woods of Börzsöny hills.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located on the top of the Nagy Hideg-hegy so the great view is guaranteed in the mornings. There's a small buffet inside where you can get various snacks and drinks, you can pay by card there.
The rooms are clean and well heated. The bathrooms are small and shared between all guests, the water tend to be a bit cooler than the comfortable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean, cozy place, highly recommended. If you want to stay for the night, dont forget bring your own sleeping bag! The reception and restaurant is open until 8pm. Tents allowed free of charge, you can pay for shower.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I spend a night here on my long-distance walk on the E4 through Hungary. An excellent mountain hut. Lidia, one of the people in charge, speaks good English and cares well for her guests. I got a decent dinner and breakfast, had a nice room with a balcony and spent some relaxing hours in the hut and on top of the peak just behind it. Excellent views towards the South. A very nice experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped here for lunch on the way of Blue trail. We got nice goloush ? with bread and pancakes ? for dessert. Tasted well, also you can pay with Szep Kartya. It has a nice sitting area outside. In winter, there is skiing slope
