★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best shops in town to buy deli!! The wine selection is really good. I had to spend xmax in Budapest due to the pandemic and could buy Spanish wines to celebrate the holidays properly (without family :( BUT with good alcohol :) )

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When you’re enjoying expat living in Budapest But still crave some of the flavors of home...wherever home may be...Culinaris is the place to shop.
They carry an eclectic mix of prepared foods and ingredients that will sure to please even the most discerning shopper. The prices might shock the more budget minded shopper, and I certainly wouldn’t do my weekly shopping here, but it was fun to pick up some treats to brighten up a gloomy weekend.

The shop is specialized on products from all over the world including a big variety of herbs, spices, teas etc. You find as well fresh products such as milk products from all over Europe. Hams, cheeses, food for Apéro platters as well as good bread and fresh herbs and vegetables add to the fine Sortiment. Staff is very friendly and attentive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have a big selection of delicacies from different countries. I was mainly impressed by their British products, such as Horlicks, Marmite and wide variety of teas. There are many kinds of pastas, Mexican/Spanish ingredients as well as fresh fruits. They sell all kinds of chocolates with fantastic design, which is suitable as a gift. Most items are obviously quite pricey compare to the prices in an average grocery shop in Hungary, but since they are selling all the rare items, it is understandable. If you are from abroad and missing your country’s food or just like to try different things, I suggest you visit this shop and sure will not go home empty handed.

What you can’t find they will probably order for you. Premium prices for premium products

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful choice of products from various countries (Italy, France, US, various part of Asia...) and generally very good quality of fresh products. However things are generally overpriced. Even though I think it is fair to pay for quality, some products which you can find elsewhere in Budapest, are more expensive in Culinaris. Their opening hours are convenient and they generally have what you need in stock.
