100E : Very convenient route at a very affordable price to/from Airport

Easy to find the bus station, bus 100e is always on time !

Take the bus 100E from this bus stop to the airport. It's best if you buy your ticket HUF900 beforehand as there were people queuing for the ticket machine at this bus stop. As this is the first stop, I'd advise that if you don't wish to be standing on a moving bus and having to grab a pole in one hand and your luggage in another, wait for the next bus with available seats if you have the time before your flight. The trip to the airport takes half an hour at least and often would be standing room only after this stop (those boarding at second stop usually would have to stand in a crowded aisle). While the airport bus is the most convenient and affordable way to the airport, it is not 5 stars because it is not a real airport limo bus like at other top-class airports. Those airport buses are like coach buses with luggage space below and staff who help with loading/unloading baggage. Of course the price is more expensive but I'd rather take those buses. This 100E bus is really just a normal public transport bus with 2 cabins, there's not even a designated space for luggage. As the bus gets crowded, it's a hazardous area as people are likely to get into accidents with the baggage here and there. Saying from experience as saw a heavy backpack slide off and fall on the back of someone sitting on her luggage along the aisle, and I also banged my ankle against someone's luggage as I was alighting. If you have luggage, I'd suggest you choose the single seats in the second cabin, if available (only 3 of them). You get a window seat and you can place your luggage by your right side and it won't be taking up aisle walking space. There were some people who placed their luggage at the seat next to them so that's taking up another seat just for their luggage.

100e - Good service to the airport. You must buy ticket (900 huf) from vending machine before boarding. Limited luggage space.

Incompetent and arrogant staff, who thinks it's okay to tell the airport shuttle passenger like “Common, you should understand we don't speak English well” and do not accept the tickets bought and validated 7 minutes ago not by them. Btw, there is no info on the ticket it should be validated at all, especially by bus personal but not automated.

Biggest scam in Budapest. Totally do not recommend. The line 100E takes you to the airport for (over the) double price (and you are lucky if only double price, and not more, because usually the drivers asks for more depending on your currency that you have), but the same quality buses as the regular service (200E). Seat on the bus is not neccessarily provided, so you might have to stand for 20-40 minutes for the same ride (for at least double price, then the normal service would provide). Drivers on the line 100E usually try to take advantage from foreign people, as well as tried to do so with me, when I talked to my friends in English, but they changed their mentality as soon they found out that I speak their language. BKK is totally disrespectful to their customers, do not even try to compain about it, because they refuse any cases until you take legal steps against the company (which you obviously won't take, because you are in this city for a few days).
