Cons — • Very smelly. A really damp, mouldy smell. That’s not pleasant, nor good for your health. • Noisy street. Impossible to leave window open overnight. Our room was also above the doorway, where smokers’ smoke would waft up through the window!

Furthermore, I missed my early a.m. train and the guy behind the desk let me check out three hours later at no extra cost. On top of not berating me when I was a day late with the key card deposit.
J	Javier Troncoso on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location of the pension was extremely good, since it was next to all forms of public transportation in the center of Budapest (metro, tram, etc.) and it was really good value for the price. Rooms had everything necessary and were clean. The pension, with their keycard system, made you feel you were just returning home instead of a hotel. The rooms were okay thought the heat was a little too much, specially on the afternoon. We couldn’t get the AC to work and there was no remote control for it. The rooms on the second floor are heard very clearly from the ones in the first, beware if noise upsets you!
