★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A szüleimtől örököltem egy az 1970-es évek végén, fából készült szekrénysort. Az akkori szocialista modern iparművészet jegyében sárga, szögletes mintás üveg volt a vitrin részén. A bútort szerettem volna megőrizni, de ezt az üveget cseréltettem le az egyéb bútorokhoz jobban illeszkedő átlátszó felületű rózsamintásra. A Díszüveg Plaza munkatársai több tervet is készítettek az ajtókhoz, és kiválaszthattam a nekem legjobban tetszőt. A méreteket pontosan megadtam, majd elkészítették és gondosan csomagolták az üveglapokat. Ezeket a posta kiszállította. Helyükre illesztésük egyszerűbb, csavarhúzós házi munka volt. Azóta örülök a megújult szekrénynek, amely így jobban illeszkedik jelenlegi világomhoz.
I inherited a row of wooden cabinets from my parents in the late 1970s. In the spirit of the socialist modern applied arts of the time, there was yellow, square-patterned glass in the display case. I wanted to keep the furniture, but I replaced this glass with a rose pattern with a transparent surface that fits better with other furniture. The staff at the Decorative Glass Plaza made several plans for the doors and I was able to choose the one I liked best. I gave the exact dimensions and then the glass sheets were made and carefully packed. These were delivered by the post office. Putting them in place was easier with a screwdriver homework. Since then, I’ve been happy with the revamped closet, making it a better fit for my current world.
