Gave a 5,000 forint note and 700 in change (5,700.00 in total) - trying to get rid of our coins, as we had accumulated so much
Lady at the till keyed in 5,200.00 then said, “how much did you give again?” after taking our money
We said 5,700 … she said “oh your change is incorrect on the bill then” and gave us 1,000 forint back
We only noticed it after we walked away, didn’t bother going back and trying to argue with her. But learn from our mistake and if you shop here, take extra care with your change if paying in cash.
