★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seriously this place is overhyped. Of course the dishes itself look good, but the taste is mediocre (I’ve been to the middle eastern countries, so I know what I’m talking about). Mentioning the service - waitresses really didn’t care about the tables. It was really funny seeing them to scroll through their phone by the bar. When we asked for the forgotten dessert , the waitress was grumpy. For the record what we ordered: olives, lemon chicken, tea and dessert. Olives and the cake were tasty, but the chicken was nothing. Prices are fair enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was really excited to eat at Dobrumba on our last night in Budapest, but left with a really negative feeling. The first 30 minutes was nice - good table, decent service, nice cocktail, really nice first course. But after we waited for almost half an hour for the next round of drinks and another half hour for the main course (which wasn’t super great, but just ok), we were really disappointed. It was visible in other tables as well that the wait times were just bizarre. So overall (and judging by other reviews too) the food is nice and perhaps you’ll have a nice experience if you are lucky to not have the tall hipster guy as your waiter.
Definitely book a table ahead - it was full even on a Tuesday evening!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had our first meal in Budapest here. nice atmosphere and great food! We have had lunch there and got so full. The stew of lamb and bell peppers tasted amazing, and the fried chicken was very juicy, I also liked the fried rice and guess it was seasoned by some saffron.
Do recommend it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recommended restaurant in the center of Budapest. We ordered two plates of falafel, eggplant hummus, pita bread, pumpkin soup, and pecorino cheese. We ate delicious cheese cake for dessert. All the food was exquisite. The place is cozy and has a special atmosphere. The service is attentive and they speak English. There are many drink options.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food, lemon chicken is quite spicy. Hard to find free table but we were lucky. VERY NICE service! I love their lemonade. Price of main 2500-3000 ft, lemonade 800 ft.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The mezze was good, the waiters polite and gave us seats which we'd not reserved.
The desserts were a delightful to eat, added for free as we'd ordered for ~2000 HuF.
House wine is plenty good if you want to try.
Prices of the dishes were apt for the dishes and reputation of the place.
On Booking : We did try to call before, the phone wasn't picked , the message on messenger was replied after many hours with message that they get booked 6-7 days in advance. So call / message much ahead of time if you want place here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A really cute Arabic restaurant with some tasty food. Just the couscous was pretty bland and could have used at least some salt and pepper. Everything else was divine. Lemonade is also great!
