★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Firstly, I was thinking maybe I shouldn't write a good review as it attracts more tourists then raises price, but this place deserves attention and superb judgment. To begin with, nice service (not included in the bill!), cozy Eastern Mediterranean design, great location (with over the Dohány Synagogue).
Menu consists of exceptional fusion food from several cuisines, resembling being anywhere in the Levant region. Had a terrific sourdough pickle soup (attached pic) and shared some "basic" mezzes (which we enjoyed so much we forgot to take pic of). A soup and 3 shared mezzes with some extra flatbread were proper portions for two. The baba ganoush was simply heavenly and the best ever - we asked its secret from the chef who seemed super enthusiastic and creative during cooking. Felt like being in a fine-dining resto with very reasonable prices (!). Defo will make another visit to try out other mezzes and mains. Until we can of course...
Btw, we came here as Dobrumba was full, but trust me, Levante per se is even better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic food, did not expect to experience the best mezze (with fresh baked airy flatbreads) that I've ever eaten in the heart of Budapest! Menu was short and considered, and the waiting staff were attentive and pleasant. Was a wonderful way to start a long weekend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a nice restaurant with tasty food, plenty of appetizers to choose from but also main dishes. The wines are good and the cocktails are well served. (Thanks for the gimlets :) )The waiters are very kind, have a lot of patience and are open to accomodate customers requests. Open every day including Christmas holidays. Totaly recommended

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place with fusion food from anywhere on the old Levante commercial way. Kebab from turkey, feta from Greece, hummus, etc.
Nice and modern interior design, lovely and resourceful service.
Delicious, creative and unique cocktails, paired perfectly with the dishes, everything connected to the Eastern flavours.
The mezzes, main dishes, cocktails, everything is really thought through, attention to every detail.
Close to a fine dining place but with a really casual atmosphere.
Went for 2 cocktails and 4 mezze (harissa shrimp, mini kebabs, lemon steak fries and feta dip, fried feta cheese) and left happy and with a belly full.
Definitely a place to recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The atmosphere is nice though the kitchen has a quite bad ventilation as all the burnt food smell was outside of the open kitchen. The food was decent. The hummus lacked oil in it and wasn’t creamy and smooth. Everything else was pretty nice. We had aubergine meze, shrimp meze, mini kebabs and sous-vide chicken.
